The senior class received over $25 million in scholarships. One hundred percent were offered admission to four-year colleges and universities in the United States and abroad and 100 percent intend to enroll in four-year colleges and universities. Indeed, successful journeys begin at the Mount!
In her Valedictorian speech, Nina Heim '24 said, "No matter where we all are next year, we will have a support system built of former classmates and an alumnae network genuinely rooting for our success. Our sisterhood has gotten us through these past four years, and while it may morph from seeing each other daily into Facetimes and weekend visits, I have no doubt that our friendships will remain just as strong. Even when we feel unbearably far away, we will always share this beautiful school on top of the hill, and the countless memories and moments it has gifted us."
She added, "I am proud to have known each and every one of you. And while I am so sad to have this time come to an end, I am indescribably excited to see all that you accomplish. I say this decisively -- we are all going to make such a difference in so many people's worlds. So no matter where next year takes you, I urge you to remember this: you are all real and you are beautiful and this is just the beginning."
Lillian Del Rossi '24 added, in her Salutatorian speech: "No matter what life throws at you, no matter which route or direction you find yourself traveling in, embrace the change. Use it to uplift the people around you, even though 'around you' will soon become defined not by geographic distance, but by the bond formed by the Mount sisterhood and the faith we share."
"The Mount has provided me with so many gifts," she concluded. "The gift of an education that challenges me but also inspires me. The gift of lifelong friendships. But, the greatest gift that the Mount has given me has been the chance to see every one of you use your gifts and talents. Now, I can't wait to watch you use your gifts to make our world a better, brighter place. Congratulations to the Class of 2024!"
