Mary Claire Schleck '23 Receives Scholar Athlete Award
On the evening of April 24, Mary Claire Schleck '23 received a 2022-2023 Scholar Athlete Award during the Somerset County Interscholastic Athletic Association dinner and ceremony.
"I am so honored to have been selected as the Mount's Somerset County Scholar Athlete," she said. "I am extremely grateful for the support from our Directress Sister Lisa Gambacorto, the Administration, my teachers, coaches, and family."
The Varsity Captain of the Mount's soccer and basketball teams, Claire is Vice President of the Student Council Executive Board, a member of the Cum Laude Society, National Honor Society, and National Math, National Science, National English, and National Spanish Honors Societies. She is also an AP Scholar with Distinction. Claire will attend the United States Military Academy at West Point after graduating from the Mount.
