Special Donation Made to Mercy Girl Effect

On Thursday, February 20, Richard Valenti and Kevin McHugh from Valairco Heating & Cooling presented Sophia Tiboni ’25, founder of Dress Express Boutique, with a $500 award to benefit the Mercy Girl Effect. Also accepting this award are Gianna Sangillo ‘25, Caoimhe Gorham '27, and Gabriella Sangillo ‘28, who with Sophia form the core of Dress Express Boutique. The Dress Express Boutique is a New Jersey non-profit that repurposes formal and semi-formal dresses for charity. Exactly 100 percent of all donations received are given to the Mercy Girl Effect to support girls’ education in developing countries. 

 

The Dress Express Boutique will be having its next curated collection event on Sunday, February 23, from 10 am to 4 pm at Embassy Suites by Hilton in Berkeley Heights. Click here to view the flyer.
